Manthan

Manthan is a social business idea competition that is been organised by the Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune , every year for the past 7 years.

Concept:

Since this was a social business idea competition the theme was how social innovation plays acts as a solution to the problems of the social, environmental and economic problems.

How we made it:

• On the bottom right is a group of dark clouds with words like pollution, illiteracy, mental health, digital divide etc. that indicate a the issues of the society.

Made from: Chart paper and water paints and cotton to give the cloudy effect.

• From those clouds a bunch of colourful paper airplanes go upwards, whic represents the wonderful social business ideas of the students.

Made from: Glossy paper wrapping paper

• These airplanes lead to Manthan, our

business idea competition, which offers a cash prize to these solutions in order to encourage the ideas further.
